Mrs. Thinster's is making Back-to-School a Whole Lot Sweeter with a Supply Drive!
Yes. Labor Day is this weekend. That is the unofficial end of summer, and back to the school grind. Back to packing back packs, packing lunches, packing gym bags, packing snacks.
It's all packing and unpacking, right? That's how I feel, and my kid is 15! She even does a lot of the packing herself but I am still packing and unpacking that lunch box of hers. Every. Day.
And the shopping. Talk about packing the trunk full of school supplies. I always get a fall coffee before school shopping. You mind the woman ripping the last box of Post-Its out of your hand a whole lot less with a latte in your hand. Pumpkin spice lattes make everything better. And you know what else makes everything better? Cookies.
Back to school means packing lunches, and I am always looking for delicious ways to make lunches healthy yet not so boring. And to that end, Mrs. Thinster's cookies is a favorite here. These are awesome cookies. Have you had them? They are non-GMO and free of all the bad stuff. I always get the chocolate ones. They are great to throw in lunch boxes or to have in the car for a snack at school pick up.
And Mrs. Thinster's is coming to Chicago, Moms, to make back to school a little sweeter this Saturday! Join them at the Northbrook Court on Saturday, September 9th from 11-5 for a Mrs. Thinster's Back-to-School Supply Drive to support local families at the ChicagoLand and Northwest Indiana Ronald McDonald House! They are going to be giving out free cookies (Hello? Free cookies?!) And you can bring school supplies to donate for children in need. Mrs. Thinster's is helping you feel even better about back-to-school shopping. You need to get last minute supplies anyway? Why not head to Northbrook and get some free yummies while you are there?
Cookies and doing something good. That's a win win. I suggest you RSVP today at their Facebook page so you can get your free yummies.
I think their new coconut cookie flavor would go great with a pumpkin spice latte. Just say'n.
Please note: Mrs. Thinster's event information was provided by Mrs. Thinster's. All thoughts, opinions, and obsessions about Mrs. Thinster's cookies and pumpkin spice lattes are completely my own. Thanks! #BakedWithLove #MrsThinsters and #BackToSchool
